  - Tips on arrival for any group:
    - If you can't find groups do not assume organiser has cancelled event. Go in, (past any queue of random presumably unbooked public outside waiting for a table)
    - go to bar / cashier where reservation book is kept,
    - Ask staff there (not random waiters on floor carrying drink/food) for ...
    - eg meetup.com &/or name of group or organiser, as in event announcement when you booked
    - Even if you cant speak German & waitesr cant speak German, Persever ! Say "English Group" (Pronouced "English Gruppe" in German) That should narrow it for them !
    - Persevere, ask customers at every big table, especially where you hear English.
    - Be on time, then there's the visual cue of a large empty table. & An organiser looking toward door, not yet deep in conversation
    - If its a larger group for a cafe/restaurant, it'll inevitably be inside, cos cafes dont usually have big tables on the pavement.
      + outside some public smoke: More Germans smoke than English speakers (English author has been in Germany decades & hates tobacco smoke).

  ( Reminds me of the statue of a panther in Munich at the South West Corner of Rosenheimer & Anziger strasses. google.com/maps. In winter fog the panther looks eerie ! (P.S. There's still massive radio aerials on top of that building last I looked, I think it was an American military base after WW2, & still Police near the Panther, presumably with radio access, one can probably radio control whole of Bavaria from there, prob still of military significance, though people discuss Pullach. )
